Usability Evaluation of the Top 10 Universities in Iraq Using Heuristic Methods

A heuristic evaluation ‎ model is proposed for assessing the usability of Top 10 Iraq university websites. ‎This based on 3 hierarchies website criteria levels. The top hierarchy level consists five categories: design and layout, learnability, content, performance, errors. In middle 18 subcategories, in bottom 44 elements were described. utilized both automated tools observation methods. To validate results obtained by model, selected universities evaluated scored according to their Besides elements, four (thinkwithgoogle, gtmetrix, tools. Pingdom, webpagetest) also used assess error performance study showed that except University Kufa Baghdad websites, rest websites failed meet applied levels model.
